Apple's Safari 5, 2x faster than Firefox

Apparently the iPhone is not the only one who announced in the 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. Apple has quietly released the next version of Safari (version 5.0) for Mac and Windows platforms. Supports the most important change was that Safari 5.0 brings HTML5 and supports extensions.
